About SueB:
Susan Elaine Brubaker Newby, known as SueB, passed away in 2008. Her family and friends established this event to honor her memory and raise awareness about domestic violence, supporting the WCA's mission.
About The Race:
The 17th Annual SueB 5K is scheduled for Sunday, October 4th, at 12 pm in Julia Davis Park, Downtown Boise, ID. Participants receive a free t-shirt if registered by Tuesday, September 17th. A community resource fair will run from 10:30 am, offering information about local services.
Race fees contribute to the WCA's Endowment Fund, ensuring continued support for victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault.
About The Course:
The 2026 SueB 5K course begins in Julia Davis Park, proceeds onto the Boise River Greenbelt, and returns to the starting point. An aid station with water will be available near Kristen Armstrong Park.
