Get ready for the first and best obstacle run in Belgium after the summer vacation! The Strong Viking Obstacle Run returns on Saturday, September 12th, and Sunday, September 13th, 2026, in Gent!
This spectacular edition takes place in the beautiful Provincial Domain Puyenbroeck near Gent. Choose from distances of 4 km, 7 km, 13 km, 19 km, or even 42 km – there's a suitable challenge for every fitness level!
Strong Viking is about challenges, getting stronger, overcoming fears, but above all, having fun together! Gather your friends, family, or colleagues and experience this fantastic challenge together. You'll encounter well-known Strong Viking water obstacles like the Flying Ragnar and the famous (and infamous) fourteen-meter-high Fjord Drop. This promises to be an unforgettable Strong Viking experience!

What is the address?

Can I store my luggage (safely)?
Yes, as a participant, you can check in your luggage free of charge at a guarded cloakroom. You will receive a wristband to retrieve your luggage after the run.* There are no lockers on site! Make sure to bring a bag for your belongings, as the cloakroom only accepts bags and no loose items! Note: only 1 piece of luggage per participant.* Luggage storage is always at your own risk.
Can I come and watch? Do I pay entrance?
Of course, you are welcome to cheer on the participants. Entrance is free, and the grounds open at 08:30 AM. Besides many obstacles, there are also various stalls, catering, etc. to see around the start and finish area. Parking fees may apply.
Do I have to do/overcome every obstacle?
Strong Viking is not a race, it's your own challenge. There is a possibility for a 'walk by'* at every obstacle, and you always decide your own limits and how far you want to go! *Different rules apply to the OCR Series (Race wave).
