Strong Viking Frankfurt 2026
The Strong Viking Obstacle Run will take place in Wächtersbach from Saturday 4 July 2026 to Sunday 5 July 2026. You can run between 4 and 42 kilometers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Distances Available:
- 4 km - Family Run / Beginning
- 7 km - Lightning
- 13 km - Warrior
- 19 km - Beast
- 42 km - Iron Viking
- 60 km - Ultra Viking
The event features water, mud, and spectacular obstacles, including the "Fjord Drop" water slide. Participants receive a finisher t-shirt, hydration along the course, and personal photos.
Family Run: A special obstacle run for families and children is also held on the same weekend.

- Bag Storage: Free guarded cloakroom available with a wristband. No lockers.
- Spectators: Free entry, grounds open at 08:30. Parking may incur a fee (€10 cash).
- Obstacles: Not all obstacles must be completed. "Walk by" options are available for most. Different rules apply for OCR Series, Ultra Viking, and Iron Viking.
- Minimum Age: Varies by distance, from 5 years for the Family Run to 18 years for the Ultra Viking.
