Straborgo di Notte
The Straborgo di Notte is a popular running event held in Borgomanero, Italy. The event offers a 5 km competitive race, which in 2025 obtained national Bronze FIDAL homologation and was valid as a single test for the FIDAL NOVARA Provincial Championship for Master and Senior categories.
In 2025, the event saw a record number of participants, with 1,163 total registrations. The 5 km competitive race had 245 participants. The men's race was won by Mohammed Lamiri in 15'03", followed by Thomas Floriani in 15'06" and Marco Gattoni in 15'10". The women's race was won by Federica Cerutti in 17'30", with Gloria Rita Antonia Giudici second and Carolina Bagnati third in 17'41".
Beyond the competitive aspect, the Straborgo di Notte is a celebration of sport for all ages. In 2025, there were 645 participants in the 5 km Non-Competitive race and 267 participants in the Bimbo Giro (0-6 years) and Mini Giro (7-15 years) categories.
The event is organized by ASD Run Fast with the support of previous organizers, the City of Borgomanero's Sports Department, Pro Loco, and AVIS Comunale di Borgomanero. It is supported by various sponsors including Minerva Energia, Nobili Rubinetterie, Crazy Head Parrucchiere, Nova Coop, and Antonioli Concessionario Honda.
