Stearns County Fair Milk Run 5K & 1K Kids Fun Run
Join us for the second annual Stearns County Fair Milk Run 5K! The race will be held on the Stearns County Fairgrounds in conjunction with the annual fair. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome. We are excited to host this event as a collaboration of central Minnesota dairy and agricultural organizations to promote our local industries and products!

- 5K Race Time: 8:30 am
Registration & Pricing
- 5K Early Registration Fee: $15.00 (Increases to $20 on July 24th)
- 1K Kids Fun Run Registration Fee: FREE! (Ages 12 and under)
- Dairy Farmer Discount: Active dairy farmers and immediate family members receive FREE registration (request coupon code).
- Registration Includes: T-shirt, race swag bag, and post-race refreshments.
- Early Bird Guarantee: Register before July 24th for guaranteed t-shirt and early bird pricing. Shirts not guaranteed after July 24th.
- Online Registration Closes: Noon on July 31st.
- Day of Registration: Available from 7:15 am at the Stearns County Fairgrounds.
Course Description
Both the 1K and 5K routes begin and end on the Stearns County Fairgrounds. The course utilizes the Lake Wobegon Trail for an out-and-back experience. The race will be chip-timed by Pickle Events.
Race Day Schedule
- 7:00 – 8:00 a.m.: Registration
- 8:00 a.m.: Opening Ceremony
- 8:05 a.m.: 1K Kids Fun Run Start
- 8:30 a.m.: 5K Race Start
- Immediately following the race: Closing Ceremony and Awards
- 8:30 - 11:30: Passport to Ag in the Commercial Building.
Additional Information
- Walking and Running Only: No inline skates, bicycles, etc. Strollers are permitted; line up at the back.
- Post-Race: Enjoy chocolate milk and snacks. Take a selfie with a calf. Meet Stearns County Dairy Princesses and Commissioners.
- Passport to Ag: New event in the Commercial Building with agricultural activities for all ages.
- Parking: $5.00/day at the fairgrounds (cash preferred). Fair entrance is free.

- Awards: All 1K participants receive an award. 5K awards for overall top female/male and age divisions.
