The Stadtlauf Düren will take place in Düren on Sunday 12 July 2026, starting at 10:00 AM. The start and finish line will be directly at the market square (Marktplatz) in Düren.

Award Ceremonies:
Award ceremonies will take place after the respective competitions on the market square.
First or Burst - The Elimination Race:
This is an elimination race where every lap counts. Participants run on a 500m circuit in the city center. Two laps form a scoring round (1 km). After each scoring round, a predetermined number of runners are eliminated until only the fastest remain. This format ensures maximum proximity between athletes and the audience, offering tempo, excitement, and direct duels.
Top 3 women and men in the 5 km, 10 km, and First or Burst competitions will receive prize money and material prizes. Places 4 and 5 will receive material prizes. Kids' runs will be awarded according to age groups.
Event Center:
The market square is the hub of the event, featuring a stage, moderation, and partner activities. Finish line refreshments are located in the adjacent area at Kaiserplatz. Food & Drinks, moderation, music, and partner actions will be available.
