Söltjerlauf Bad Münder am Deister 2026
The Söltjerlauf Bad Münder am Deister will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Bad Münder am Deister. This is a charity run for all ages, from children to marathon runners, where every lap counts regardless of speed.
Participants have four hours to complete as many laps as possible. In previous years, up to 800 participants have joined, and a total of 74,757 EUR has been raised for various clubs and organizations. In 2026, sponsors Sparkasse Hameln-Weserbergland and Ardagh Group will donate 2 Euros for each lap completed, up to a total of 5000 Euros, to support two chosen projects:
- Sozialraum AG e.V. for their work promoting a lively, solidary community in Bad Münder.
- The Leichtathletik department of VfB Eimbeckhausen (over 80 children and youth) for the creation of a long jump facility to secure future successes at state and federal levels.
The event will be held at the "Bergschmiede" grounds, providing an atmosphere that invites participants to stay after their run until the award ceremony. Silke's Backstübchen will provide catering, and discussions will be held with any new tenant of the forest restaurant regarding post-race provisions.
