Sokolský běh republiky – Okříšky
The Sokolský běh republiky in Okříšky will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. This event is suitable for everyone, regardless of experience or fitness level, offering active fun for runners and non-runners alike.
Race Details
The main race is 4.2 km, starting in Stará Osada at the tennis courts. The route primarily follows country roads and includes hills, flat sections, and scenic views of six ponds.
Children's Races
- 960 m: For children born 2012 - 2016 (two laps around the tennis courts).
- 480 m: For children born 2017 - 2020 (one lap around the tennis courts).
- 240 m: For children born 2021 and younger (2x 120m on asphalt).
Participant Information
Each participant will receive a start package with a race number and gifts from organizers and partners. A medal shaped like the republic awaits finishers. The total capacity is limited to 50 participants for the main race and 45 for children's races, so online registration is encouraged.
Additional Program
A bouncy castle will be available for children in good weather.
Facilities
Restrooms and a covered changing area are available on-site. A stand will offer hot and cold drinks, and fruit and hot dogs will be available for children.
Parking
Parking is available near the post office on Jihlavská street, a 5-minute walk from the race facilities.
