Sokolský běh republiky – Chleny
The Sokolský běh republiky in Chleny will take place as a RACE. This means the time may not be measured by a timing system, but you will not miss out on your final time or the announcement of winners! Everyone will receive their starting package with a start number and other gifts from organizers and partners. In the finish, a beautiful medal in the shape of the republic awaits all participants.
We have prepared running routes that will satisfy both demanding runners and those who just want to stretch pleasantly. We offer routes adapted to different fitness levels, including children's routes divided into 3 age categories. Enjoy running through the forest, along field paths, and on asphalt roads. Comfortable facilities and changing rooms are provided for all participants.
Main Routes
- Adults 10 km: The route starts at the playground and continues through the local part "Chaloupky" to the gamekeeper's lodge, then turns towards Vrbice. It continues past the Olšinky forest park to the Vrbické spring. It proceeds along a forest path to the highest point "Rovina", from where it turns back towards Dolní Prorub (Na Kapradi). The route continues to the gamekeeper's lodge, then to Dostál's linden trees and returns to the playground. It runs on asphalt and mainly forest paths.
- Adults 3.5 km: The route leads from the playground through the local part "Chaloupky" to the gamekeeper's lodge, continues to Dostál's linden trees and returns to the playground. The path is slightly uphill for about half the way and downhill for the rest of the route. It runs on asphalt and forest paths.
Children's Routes
- 1.1 km - birth years 2012 - 2015: The route starts at the playground and leads through the local part "Chaloupky" and back. The path is slightly uphill for about 2/3 of the way and then downhill. The entire route is on an asphalt path.
- 500 m - birth years 2016 - 2020: The route starts at the playground and continues along a paved path through the village square, from where it returns to the playground. The first half of the route is uphill, the second part is downhill. The route includes a paved path and an asphalt road.
- 200 m - birth years 2021 and younger: The route will lead around the playground and measures approximately 200 meters.

- 12:00 - 12:45: Collection of numbers for children's race
- 12:00 - 13:30: Collection of numbers for the main race
- 13:00: Start of the children's race (2021 and younger)
- 13:15: Start of the children's race (2016 - 2020)
- 13:30: Start of the children's race (2012 - 2015)
- 13:45: Announcement of children's races
- 14:00: Start of the main race
- 15:30: Announcement of the main races
Runner Facilities
Lockers with showers are available in the area upon request. Men's and women's toilets are inside the building as well as in the changing rooms. Refreshments will be provided.
Parking and Transport
Parking is available in the village square in Chleny or below the kindergarten.
