Sokolský běh republiky – Bystřice pod Hostýnem
This event is a race format where timing may not be measured by a chronometer, but participants will still receive their results and be part of the award ceremony. Each participant will receive a starting package with a bib number and gifts from organizers and partners. A distinctive republic-shaped medal awaits finishers.
Main Race
5.5 km - The course starts from the Sokolovna towards the train station, crossing the tracks (secured passage), then follows the tracks through a garden colony towards Končiny, where the terrain rises. At its highest point, the course crosses a cycle path towards Slavkov pod Hostýnem and continues on a field path back to Bystřice. The route crosses the tracks again before the finish at the Sokolovna.
Children's Race
- 1 km - For children born between 2012-2015. The route runs through a park on grass and pavement, with 2 laps. It is off public roads and adjacent to the Sokolovna.
- 500 m - For children born between 2016-2020. The route is the same as for older children, but with one lap.
- 50 m - For children born between 2021 and younger. A non-demanding route on the Sokolovna playground.
Accompanying Program
There will be an accompanying program and entertainment for children and adults. Nordic walking can also be tried. A lecture by an endurance runner is being arranged.
Facilities for Runners
Changing rooms and toilets are available in the area. Light refreshments are provided, with refreshments in the finish for all participants.

Free parking is available in the vicinity of the Sokolovna.

- 12:30 - 13:30: Bib pickup for the main race
- 14:00: Start of the main race
- 16:00: Award ceremony for the main race
