SILLY MOO 7 : Trenchmore Farm fun run
The event is a 7 km fun run across Trenchmore Farm in Horsham, with the route starting and finishing in the farmyard. The course is cross country and moves through a gentle opening loop in the Silly Moo orchard, winding trails across open fields, shaded woodland paths and classic farm tracks with views across the land. Runners pass grazing cows and local birdlife and may see deer. The terrain can be uneven in places, so participants are asked to take care underfoot. Fancy dress is encouraged.
After the run there is a relaxed farmyard social with music, food and drinks served by 3Bros including wagyu and veggie burgers. Every runner receives a free drink included in their ticket. Spaces are limited and booking online in advance is essential.
Participation notes: the event welcomes walkers as well as runners; under 15s must run with a guardian and the minimum age is 11. Dogs are permitted on leads provided temperatures remain below 20°C. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Event Details
Pull on your trainers (or your fancy dress) and join us for a 7km fun run across Trenchmore Farm. Not a runner? No problem. Everyone’s welcome to come along, soak up the atmosphere, enjoy the music and grab food and drink on the day.
The Fun Run The route starts and finishes in the farmyard and takes you on a rural adventure:
- A gentle opening loop through the picturesque Silly Moo orchard
- Winding trails across open fields
- Shaded woodland paths
- Classic farm tracks with views across the land
Along the way, you’ll run past grazing cows, spot local birdlife and, if you’re lucky, catch a glimpse of a deer or two - all before crossing the finish line back in the farmyard.
Please note, this run is cross country and sometimes on uneven ground. Please tread carefully.
Spaces are limited, so booking online in advance is essential.
After the Finish
- 3Bros serving wagyu or veggie burgers
- DJ Danny on the decks, bringing feel-good tunes all afternoon
- A relaxed farmyard social with music, food and drinks until 4pm
Every runner receives a free drink after the run, included in their ticket.
Fancy dress is encouraged, the brighter, bolder or sillier, the better.

- Yard opens & registration: 9:45am
- Warm-up: 10:45am
