Shore's Toughest Mile
Four Laps. Four Movements. One Purpose.
Foundry Fitness, Ruff Stuff, and the OHWL Foundation are proud to present the inaugural Shore's Toughest Mile, taking place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Count Basie Field in Red Bank, New Jersey. This one-of-a-kind fitness challenge brings together athletes, families, local organizations, and businesses for a day of fitness, community spirit, and philanthropy. Most importantly, all proceeds from Shore's Toughest Mile will support local scholarship opportunities for students attending high schools throughout our area.
Don't let the name fool you. Participants will face an unforgettable test of physical and mental toughness by completing:
- 1 Lap of Burpee Broad Jumps
- 1 Lap of Walking Lunges
- 1 Lap of Bear Crawls
- 1 Lap Sprint
That's one miles of work, each demanding a different type of strength, endurance, grit, and determination. There are no shortcuts. No easy sections. Just you, the course, and the challenge of pushing forward one rep, one step, and one mile at a time. Whether you're a competitive athlete looking to test your limits or someone who wants to accomplish something truly extraordinary, Shore's Toughest Mile is designed to challenge every participant while bringing our community together for a meaningful cause.
