Sea Girt 5K & Kids' Races - 2026
A summer tradition at the Jersey Shore! Fun 5k run/walk through beautiful Sea Girt, NJ. This is a great community event with Kids' Races and Activities, live music on the course, custom t-shirt, chip timing, medals and more!
The 35th Annual Sea Girt 5K will benefit Sea Girt Recreation and The Jersey Shore Dream Center, which provides hunger relief, essential baby supplies and community programs to individuals and families in need. - Kids' Races Start Time: 10:00 AM
- Kids' Activities: 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM

- 5K Early Bird Registration: $33.00 through May 1st
- 5K Regular Registration: $38.00 after May 1st
- Kids' Race and Activities Early Bird: $12.00 through May 1st
- Kids' Race and Activities Regular: $15.00 after May 1st
Race Features
- 5K Run/Walk/Roll: Includes custom t-shirt, bib with chip timing, medal, live music on course, after-party.
- Kids' Races: Short sprints from 25 – 400 yards based on age group. Not timed, no prizes awarded. Includes t-shirt, goody bag and Kids' Activities.
- Kids' Activities: Inflatables, Pony Rides, Face Painting & More.
Important Information
- Race bibs will be mailed if registered by July 10th. First mailout around June 15th.
- T-Shirt and Late Registration Bib Pickup: 4 - 7 PM – Friday, July 31st and 6:30 - 8:30 AM – Saturday, August 1st at Tents by Sea Girt Library – 801 The Plaza, Sea Girt, NJ 08750. Must bring your Race Bib to pick up T-Shirt!
- Race is rain or shine. Will only be postponed if weather is a danger to participants (lightning, hurricane).
- No refunds, transfers, credits or exchanges.
- Kids’ Activities may be cancelled due to rain, but races will happen unless main race is postponed.
