Schierker Sommerlauf 2026
The 24th Schierker Sommerlauf will take place on August 8, 2026, in Wernigerode. Experience the pulse of the Harz and be enchanted by the breathtaking landscape around Schierke. Choose from three varied routes, suitable for both experienced runners and beginners.
Rennübersicht
- 1 KM Kurparklauf: A free 1 km run for the youngest participants through the historic Schierker Kurpark.
- 4 KM Sommerlauf: For beginners and sprinters, this 4 km route leads to the old bobsled track and back through the spa park.
- 8 KM Hauptlauf: A challenging 8 km course, involving a second lap of the demanding 4 km route, celebrated in the Schierker Feuersteinarena.
- 16 KM Winterbergtrail: This 16 km trail run offers pure nature in the Harz National Park with significant elevation gain, a treat for experienced runners.
The event is part of the new Harzer Laufcup 2026 and the NOVO NORDISK LANDESCUP SACHSEN-ANHALT.
