Run The Green Wave 5k & Kid's Mile
Join us on Saturday, August 8th, 2026, for the Run The Green Wave 5k and the Green Wave Kid's Mile at Easley High School in Easley, SC. This unique 5k race will be held on the Easley cross country course, featuring mostly grass with a few pavement crossings and a fast finish on the track. The entire community is welcome to attend this fun event, which includes award winners, music, and door prizes.
The Green Wave Mile is designed for children 6th grade and below.
Event Schedule:
- Green Wave Mile Starts: 7:10 AM (Age Group 0-10, cutoff will be 6th grade)
- Run The Green Wave 5k Starts: 7:30 AM

- Green Wave Mile: $10.00
- Run The Green Wave 5k: $25.00
Register by July 26th, 2026, at 11:59 PM to be guaranteed a t-shirt. Race day registration will be available from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM.
Everyone who enters before July 26th, 2026, will be guaranteed a t-shirt. All proceeds go to the entire Cross Country & Track program at Easley High School.
Awards:
- All participants in the Green Wave Mile will receive a finisher's medal.
- 5k Age Group Awards: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-50, 51-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
Packet Pick-up:
Friday, August 7th, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Easley High School Main Office (outside).
