RUN ROCKAWAY BEACH NYC FIRECRACKER HALF MARATHON & 5K
Celebrate July 5th weekend with a Race Day at beautiful Rockaway Beach. Choose between a 5K or Half Marathon. The race takes place on Saturday, July 5th, 2026. Check-in begins at 6:30 AM, with the race starting at 8:00 AM.
The boardwalk venue offers a perfect racecourse with no hills and amazing ocean views every mile.
Race Details:
- Date: Sunday, July 5th, 2026
- Check-in/Bib Pick-up: 6:30 AM at Beach 94th
- Race Start: 8:00 AM (Half Marathon and 5K)
- Start & Finish: Beach 94th on the Boardwalk
Course Information:
Half Marathon: Two loops starting from Beach 94th west, with a U-turn at Beach 124th St east, another U-turn at 54th St west, and returning to Beach 94th St. This loop is repeated. There are at least 4 water stops for each loop.
5K: An out and back course starting on Beach 94th St, heading west to Beach 124th St for a U-turn, and returning to the finish on 94th St.
Public parking is available in the lot on Beach 94th St.
Participants will receive a T-SHIRT, MEDAL, and SNACKS.
