Rise Up Hero Trail Runs at Settlers Cabin Park
This event features multiple trail running distances: 50K, 25K, 8 Miler, and 5K. The course uses the same iconic Last Trail Standing route but in reverse, offering a new challenge with climbs, descents, and technical sections through woods, rocks, and roots.

Course Overview
The course is approximately 99% trail, starting and finishing at Algonquin Shelter. The 25K and 50K races turn around at Gilbert Love Shelter, which is 7.75 trail miles away. The 8 Miler runs past Gilbert Love before returning to Algonquin. The 5K is a separate loop not reaching Gilbert Love.
Course Format Details
- 25K: One full loop (Algonquin → Gilbert Love → Algonquin) with ~2300ft elevation gain.
- 50K: Two full 15.5-mile loops with ~4600ft elevation gain.
- 8 Miler: Runs past Gilbert Love aid station, then turns back to Algonquin.
- 5K: A true 5K loop starting and finishing at Algonquin.

- 25K: 8:45 AM
- 8 Miler: 9:00 AM
- 5K: 9:15 AM
Aid, Crew & Drop Bags
Two major aid stations are located at Algonquin (Start/Finish) and Gilbert Love. Maximum distance between aid stations is under 8 miles. 50K runners have drop bags at the Algonquin Start Area.
Hikers & Dogs
Hikers are welcome in the 25K, 8 Miler, and 5K. Trained dogs are welcome in the 5K.

The event aims to challenge participants and reveal their inner hero through the demanding trails of Settlers Cabin Park.
