Rhino Run for Education
This community event, held at Gaston College’s beautiful Dallas campus, features a 5K run and a 2K walk or fun run. When you register, you can choose to designate a portion of your registration fee to directly support Gaston College, Gaston County Schools, Lincoln County Schools or Lincoln Charter School. Bring the whole family and help us continue to build momentum in our community and schools!
This race event will include music from Gaston College’s WSGE Radio Station, local food/coffee trucks, and more. Register by August 31, 2025, to guarantee a race t-shirt. All participant results are based on the chip time from the individual runner crossing the start and finish lines. The 5K Run Course is USATF Certified: #NC21011DF Age group and overall winners for the 5K will be recognized at the post-event awards ceremony.
Registration fees
Prices are inclusive of mandatory charges, items, and fees
- Untimed 2K Run/Walk: $28.74 (20% supports a Lincoln or Gaston County School)
- Timed 5K: $39.44 (20% supports a Lincoln or Gaston County School)
Registration Policies: There are NO refunds for this race if you did not enroll in the Refund Protection Program. Race Management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions. Registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to "Acts of God".
