Rhayader Round The Lakes comprises two road races that have been based in Rhayader, Powys for over 40 years and are organised by volunteers. Both routes run in and around the Elan Valley and use open public roads during the events.
The longer course is a 30 km road race that passes through the Elan Valley countryside and includes higher sections that are exposed to the weather. The shorter course is a 10 km route that goes out to the Elan Valley and returns to the town. A race licence has been applied for.
Entry charges are stated for each distance. Transfers and entries are subject to a published cut off, and the organiser states that there are no refunds and no deferrals. Race numbers and timing chips are available for collection at Rhayader Leisure Centre at pre-race and race-morning collection sessions.
