Red, White & Run 5K
Join us for the Red, White & Run 5K on October 17, 2026, as we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with a fun-filled community event for all ages! Held before the Halifax County Community Harvest Days festivities, this patriotic race welcomes kids, adults, runners, and walkers to participate together. Whether you are racing to the finish line or enjoying a casual walk with family and friends, this event is a great way to come together as a community while promoting health, wellness, and recreation. Funds raised from the event will directly support youth and recreation opportunities throughout Halifax County. Grab your red, white, and blue and join us for a morning of fun, fitness, and community spirit!
Registration Fees
Early Entry Fee: Aug 1st - Oct 1st
Adults (18 and up): $30
Kids (5 and up): $15
Regular Fee: Oct 2nd - Race Day
Adults (18 and up): $45
Kids (5 and up): $20

This event welcomes runners, joggers, and walkers of all experience levels and encourages community participation while supporting youth and recreation opportunities in Halifax County.
Giveaway
All registered participants for the Red, White & Run 5K will receive a commemorative race giveaway item while supplies last. Current plans include: Event T-Shirt featuring the Red, White & Run 5K and America’s 250th celebration theme. To guarantee a race shirt and requested size, participants must register no later than October 1, 2026. Registrations received after October 1st may still receive a shirt; however, sizes and availability cannot be guaranteed.
