Ras Dau Gopa Aberystwyth Twin Peaks
The Ras Dau Gopa Aberystwyth Twin Peaks is a multi-terrain running event featuring both senior and junior races. The event starts and finishes on the Aberystwyth Promenade near the Bandstand, which serves as the race headquarters. The course utilizes various surfaces, including pavement, gravel tracks, rocky paths, grass, and mud.
Senior Race Details:
Distance: 11.7 km (7.3 miles) with 237 meters (777 feet) of climb.
Starts and finishes at the bandstand. The route heads south, circles the harbour, ascends Pen Dinas via gravel and rocky paths, and then climbs Constitution Hill before a final descent to the promenade.
Junior Race Details (Ras Consti):
Junior (11 and Under): 1.77 km (1.1 miles)
Secondary (12-15): 2.57 km (1.6 miles)
Both start and finish at the bandstand, involving part or a full climb of Constitution Hill.
Race Information:
Race HQ and Registration: Bandstand, Aberystwyth Promenade. Junior Registration: 9:00 – 9:45. Senior Registration: 10:15 – 11:15.
Car Parking: On-street and nearby car parks.
Toilets: Available at the Bandstand and public toilets nearby.
Race Numbers: To be collected from Race HQ on race day.
Headphones: Bone conducting headphones permitted; traditional headphones not allowed.
Bag Storage: Informal facilities at Race HQ (at owner's risk).

First Aid: St Johns Ambulance in attendance at Race HQ and around the course.
Awards for top 3 boys and girls in various age groups for juniors. Senior race prizes for the first three male finishers.
