9th Annual Race to Save the Harvest!
Join us at Minto-Brown Island Park for the 9th Annual Race to Save the Harvest! This family-friendly race supports Salem Harvest's mission to feed hungry families and reduce food waste. Both the 3k and 5k courses are on shaded, hard-surface paths within the park. The start and finish lines will be located at the south end of Parking Lot 3.
Packet Pick-up:
- Friday, June 26, from 4pm - 6pm at Gallagher Fitness Resources (135 Commercial Street NE, Salem Oregon)
- Saturday, June 27, from 8am - 9:15am at Minto-Brown Island Park (near parking lot 3)
Support Salem Harvest
All funds raised will help Salem Harvest gather fresh produce from local farms that would otherwise go to waste and make it available to hungry families in the Willamette Valley. Volunteers race to the fields to save the harvest and get this unused resource into the community!
Event t-shirts will be included with registrations made before June 5th. Entry fees increase and shirts may not be available for registrations on June 5th or later. Register early!
Raffle Prizes
Each participant receives one raffle ticket. Additional tickets can be purchased at the race ($1 each or 7 for $5) to increase your chances of winning and support the mission further. Winning tickets will be drawn shortly after the race.
Visit Ima Blueberry! Our favorite celebrity, Ima Oregon Blueberry, will be in attendance cheering everyone on!
