About the 5k event
Race for Life 5k is a great first challenge, no matter your age or fitness level. Go solo and join hundreds of people on the day, or sign up as a group with friends and family. There's no pressure to finish in a certain time, so walk, jog or run at your own pace and enjoy the atmosphere! However you take part, you're helping to beat cancer.
Course information
The start and finish are on grass. The course is a mixture of terrain and incorporates some inclines and declines around Dunorlan Park.

Once you sign up for your Race for Life event, you'll receive an email with all the need-to-know details to help you feel fully prepared for the day.
Meeting point: The start and finish are located alongside the lake, between the cafe and the boat hire building.
Travel information
By Car: General Event Parking: There is no event parking as the Pembury Road car park will be closed. However, there will be a free Park and Ride service from the town hall to Dunorlan Park.
Public Transport and Pedestrians: Arriva Bus Route 6 stops just outside the Pembury Road Park entrance, or Route 277 stops a 5-minute walk away. Tunbridge Wells Station is a 5-min taxi or 25-min walk away.

Accessibility
This event is not wheelchair accessible due to the nature of the terrain on the course route. The start and finish areas are on grass which is uneven and slightly sloped. In wet weather, the ground may become soft or muddy. The route includes some tarmac but is mainly grass/woodland. Blue Badge parking is available at Pembury Road car park.
