The course starts and finishes on grass and a slight hill. The route uses a combination of grass, surfaced paths and woodland paths and is a single lap. The course features varying elevations and includes approximately 2.5 km of uphill sections. Surfaces and inclines may change with recent weather conditions.
Accessibility and site information
The route has been assessed as wheelchair accessible with assistance because of inclines and grass sections. Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee and Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends. A QR code on the main site will provide British Sign Language stage content. Cycle stands and cycle lockers are provided at on-site locations. Vehicle drop off is available near the roundabout at the end of Temple Newsam Road and the nearest train station is Cross Gates, about 1.9 miles from the venue.
