Cancer Research UK's Race for Life at Hartlepool Promenade offers chip-timed 10k, 5k, and 3k courses along the beautiful seafront. This event is a fantastic opportunity to raise money for life-saving cancer research.
Event Details
The 10k event is a more challenging option, but you can take it at your own pace. The course runs along the promenade, loops back via the road, and returns to the finish. The 10k course is a double lap of the 5k course. Chip timing is provided so you can track your performance.

Location and Travel:
Parking: Free event parking is available on the grass adjacent to the event site, off Coronation Drive. Please note, parking is limited and closes 15 minutes before the start. Car sharing or public transport is advised.
Public Transport: There are bus stops along Coronation Drive. Hartlepool train station is approximately a 30-minute walk from the venue.
Cycling: There are no dedicated bike racks available at this event.

Accessibility:
The event site is on uneven grass, and there are narrow pinch points along the promenade path, which may make conditions difficult for wheelchair users. Assistance is recommended. Sunflower wristbands are available, and event managers are trained Dementia Friends. BSL stage content will be available via a QR code.
