Prescott-Russell Recreational Trail Challenge
The Prescott-Russell Recreational Trail Challenge is a trail race that follows the scenic, mostly flat crushed-stone rail trail connecting St. Eugene and Hammond. Expect a mix of wide-open farmland views, shaded woodlots, and small-town charm as you cover this historic route.
The event features OUT & BACK* routes of 12 km, 25 km, 50 km, 50 Miles and 100 km. Aid stations are spaced every ~4 –8 km and include water, electrolytes, and a variety of snacks. This is a runnable trail with minimal technical sections—perfect for a fast time or a fun ultra debut.

- Friday, September 25, 2026: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Race kit pickup & late registration (Alphonse Carriere Centre, Hammond, ON)
- Saturday, September 26, 2026: 4:00 AM: Race Headquarter open for Race Kit Pickup, 5:00 AM: 50km, 50 miler & 100km Early Start option, 6:00 AM: 50 miler + 100 km Start, 7:00 AM: 50 km Start, 9:00 AM: 25 km Start, 10:00 AM: 12 km Start
Race Fees (Early Bird 1 - Closes May 31, 2026):
- 50 miles & 100 km (Solo & Relay): $130.00 Solo / $50.00 per relay team member
- 50 km: $90.00
- 25 km: $50.00
