Počátky Race - Obstacle Race
The Počátky Race is an exciting obstacle race taking place in Počátky, Czechia. This event offers a challenging course for adults, juniors, and children.
Race Details
- Adults: 6+ km with 25+ obstacles
- Juniors: 3+ km with 15+ obstacles (half the adult course)
- Children: 1+ km with 10+ obstacles
Categories
Participants are divided into age categories based on their birth year:
- Children: 2019-2017, 2016-2014 (girls/boys)
- Juniors: 2013-2010 (girls/boys)
- Adults: Categories for 2009-1992 and 1991 onwards, divided into Men and Women.
- Teams: 4-person teams
Schedule
- 9:15 - Registration for children's categories
- 10:00 - Start of children's categories
- 11:15 - 11:30 - Awards for children's categories & Registration for juniors and adults
- 12:00 - Start of junior race
- 12:30 - Start of main adult race
- 16:15 - 16:45 - Awards ceremony for junior and adult participants
Organizers reserve the right to change the schedule.
Race Start
Children's and junior categories will have an interval start. Adult categories and teams will have a mass interval start.
Race Facilities
Facilities include refreshment stands, showers, mobile toilets, baggage storage, and parking at the start location.
Timing
Chip timing will be provided by irontime using returnable chips attached with a disposable strap like a watch. Race numbers will be worn on the face.
