Pennine Barrier Ultra 50
Join GB Ultras for this fantastic 50-mile ultra-marathon with 2593m of ascent, fusing together some of the finest trails in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Starting at the beautiful village of Malham, the route takes in Malham Cove, the Dry Valley of Watlowes, Malham Tarn, Fountains Fell, Janet’s Foss, and the wonderful Yorkshire 3 Peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough. This is a stunning route with excellent support from the #GBUltras team at Checkpoints & across the Yorkshire Dales.
The event attains ITRA points & UTMB mountain index points and is held under permit of the Trail Running Association (TRA) under UK Athletics (UKA) Rules.

The route follows sections of the Pennine Way and the Yorkshire 3 Peaks way-marked trails. Live online GPS tracking is used during the race. There are five checkpoints providing drinks and snacks. Mandatory kit checks are in place.
Top finishers will receive Gold, Silver, or Bronze 'GB Ultras' medals. The Pennine Barrier Ultra 50 mile is part of the GB Ultras 50 Mile SLAM and GB Ultras 50 Mile GRAND SLAM!
