Peak Raid Anytime Race 4 Hartington
Peak Raid Anytime Race 4 takes place in Hartington in the Peak District from Wednesday 1 July to Sunday 27 September 2026. The event is a MapRun series made up of four 2-hour score races held on footpaths, trails and areas of open access. Participants may run, jog or walk.
Each race uses a score format with 40 control points worth 20 points each. Competitors select their own route and visit controls in any order within the two hour time limit. A time penalty of minus 10 points is applied for each minute late. Only runs completed by Sunday 27 September 2026 contribute to the series result; the series result is the combined score from all four MapRun races.
Entries open Sunday 8 February 2026 and close Sunday 20 September 2026. Age categories are Adult (16 years or older) and Under 16 (up to 15 years old). Entry fees listed are Adult £8.00 and Under 16 £4.00. Professionally printed waterproof maps may be purchased for £4.00 including postage and a map PDF will be made available for personal printing. 2-Hour Score Race
Run hard, run easy, run anytime. Or, just jog, or walk and explore the beautiful Peak District. Using the MapRun app, a series of four, 2-hour score races using footpaths and areas of open access in the Peak District. Take part as many times as you like and at any time you chose.
Think fell running requiring good route choices and navigation skills. Great running (jogging or walking) in more remote off the beaten track locations. All races have a score format so you select your own route and go as hard or easy as you like!
The races have a time limit of 2 hours, there are 40 control points scoring 20 points each and a time penalty of minus 10 points for each minute late. So don't be late!
You can take part in each race as many times as you wish, and at any time you choose.
Order a Professionally Printed Map
Professionally printed waterproof maps can be purchased when entering. As in previous years a map PDF will also be made available for competitors to print their own map. Map cost, including postage: £4.00 each.
Races can be undertaken in any order and do not need to be completed in the month that they go live. However, only runs completed by Sunday 27th September 2026 will contribute to the series results. The series result will be the combined score from all four MapRun races.
