Dedicated to bringing hope, healing, and freedom to survivors of human trafficking. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or simply passionate about making a difference, your participation helps fuel the life-changing work of Peace Promise.
Gather your friends, family, coworkers, or church community and create a fundraising team! Teams can participate together at our in-person event (Saturday, October 11, at Penbrook Community Park) organize their own run or walk at a time and place of their choosing, or complete the challenge individually—every mile and every dollar raised makes an impact.
Not up for a full 5K? We've got you covered! Our ¼-mile Fun Run is perfect for kids—and kids at heart—who want to join the fun while supporting survivors.

Peace Promise is a Harrisburg-based nonprofit that addresses the complexities of sex trafficking in the Harrisburg region by offering outreach & intervention, support & training, education & awareness, and economic empowerment for those who have experienced the weight of sexual exploitation. We partner with survivors in their healing process to provide for practical needs like housing and employment while also addressing emotional support and life skills training to equip survivors to thrive in their journey to freedom. We partner with area organizations, law enforcement agencies, mental healthcare professionals, in addition to a dedicated community of volunteers, financial partners, and our trained and trauma-informed staff to ensure wholistic care of our survivors.
