Paul - Panoramasteig Ultralauf
The Paul - Panoramasteig Ultralauf, also known as PAUL, is a small but fine running event organized by runners for runners. It is not intended to become a large-scale event.
Races Offered:
- PAUL150: 150 miles with approximately 7,000 vertical meters. Requires proof of a challenging 100-mile race within the last 24 months or a DUV (German Ultramarathon Association) statistic. Limited to 75 participants, with an additional 30 for an early start at 4:00 AM.
- PAUL100: 100 miles. No prior experience proof required. Limited to 75 participants.
- PAUL50: 50 miles. No prior experience proof required. Limited to 75 participants.
All competitions are individual events. Each participant runs alone and must complete the entire course independently on foot.

The event will take place from Thursday, May 27, 2027, to Sunday, May 30, 2027, with multiple start groups:
- Start Group 1: Friday, May 28, 2027, 04:00 AM - PAUL150 (47–62h) - Early Start (outside DUV ranking)
- Start Group 2: Friday, May 28, 2027, 06:00 AM - PAUL150 (45–60h)
- Start Group 3: Friday, May 28, 2027, 10:00 AM - PAUL150 (37–49h)
- Start Group 4: Friday, May 28, 2027, 02:00 PM - PAUL150 (30–40h)
- Start Group 5: Friday, May 28, 2027, 04:00 PM - PAUL100 (32–50h)
- Start Group 6: Saturday, May 29, 2027, 12:00 AM - PAUL100 (22–42h)
- Start Group 7: Saturday, May 29, 2027, 04:00 PM - PAUL50 (8–26h)
Participants are advised to estimate their finish time realistically. Start times are coordinated with aid station opening hours, and no special exceptions will be made for participants starting too early.
