The Black Toes Running Team (BTRT) was founded in September 2019 by a group of seven distance runners from Beijing, Nanjing, and Shanghai. The team was created with the aim of embodying speed and swag in the running community of Shanghai. The BTRT crew sees their Black Toes as a legacy of hard training and dedication to the sport. They create content to share their experiences and change people’s perspectives on marathons and marathoners. They run on Miao Jiang Road on Saturday mornings and at the Luwan Stadium on Wednesday evenings. They welcome runners of all levels who share their passion for running and swag.
