On The Edge Middle Distance Triathlon
Park Farm, Compton Verney, Warwickshire CV35 9HJ.
This middle distance triathlon, now in its sixth year, takes place at Park Farm in Compton Verney. The event features a 1900m swim in the Capability Brown designed lake, a 90km bike ride through the picturesque Warwickshire countryside with approximately 888m of elevation, and a 21.1km multi-terrain run with approximately 238m of elevation. The run is mostly off-road on firm tracks and trails. Road surfaces on the bike route are good, suitable for TT and road bikes.
Race Details:
- Swim: 1900m in the lake (two laps, trickle start)
- Bike: 90km through Warwickshire countryside, including climbs on the Edge Hill escarpment
- Run: 21.1km on tracks and trails around Park Farm and Compton Verney hamlet
British Triathlon membership (full or one-day) is required. Standard cut-off times apply, and headphones are prohibited.
