Olympijský běh – Palkovice
The Olympijský běh – Palkovice is a running event that will take place in Palkovice on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. This 4th edition features a simplified course designed to minimize steep climbs, with most of the route traversing forest and field paths, interspersed with short asphalt sections. The race aims to support the Czech Olympic Foundation.
Courses
- 6 km: For adults (born 2010 and older). Children born in 2011 and younger can participate with parental consent, unless otherwise specified by the organizer.
- Children's Races: 200 m (for children born 2021 and younger), 400 m (for children born 2017-2020), and 1400 m (for children born 2011-2016).
Race Information
- Start Time: Main race starts at 18:00. Children's races start at 16:45, 17:00, and 17:15.
- Registration: Online registration is mandatory and closes on June 5, 2026. On-site registration will not be available.
- Capacity: 300 adult runners, 400 children.
- Facilities: Toilets, showers, changing rooms, and baggage storage will be available.
- Note: The course is not suitable for wheelchairs or handbikes. Chip timing is not used.

Adults (6 km):
- February 2 - March 31: 250 Kč (without t-shirt), 500 Kč (with t-shirt)
- April 1 - May 31: 350 Kč (without t-shirt), 600 Kč (with t-shirt)
- June 1 - June 5: 400 Kč (without t-shirt), 650 Kč (with t-shirt)
Children's Races:
- February 2 - March 31: 100 Kč (without t-shirt), 300 Kč (with t-shirt)
- April 1 - May 31: 100 Kč (without t-shirt), 300 Kč (with t-shirt)
- June 1 - June 5: 100 Kč (without t-shirt), 300 Kč (with t-shirt)
A portion of each entry fee (20 Kč) contributes to the Czech Olympic Foundation.
