The Miles for Michael 5.12K Run/Walk and Children’s Dash is an annual event held in Charleston, SC, honoring the memory of Michael W. Leibowitz, a passionate runner and philanthropist. The event features a 5.12K Run/Walk and a Children's Dash, open to all athletic abilities. While not officially timed, participants are welcome to time themselves. Dogs are not permitted on the race course due to insurance and liability concerns.
All proceeds from this memorial event will be donated to the Michael W Leibowitz Fund to support charitable causes close to his heart. Michael's motto, “If I can do it, so can you,” continues to inspire.
