Mildura Riverfront Marathon 2026
The third Mildura Riverfront Marathon Festival is scheduled for Sunday, June 7, 2026. Registrations are now open. The course winds along the banks of the River Murray and includes the Mildura Weir parkrun course. It's designed for all abilities, from elite marathon runners to casual joggers and walkers, featuring a very flat profile with only minor inclines. The event starts and finishes at the Powerhouse Precinct on Hugh King Drive, which offers a cafe, ample restrooms, and a scenic riverfront location.
In 2026, the event will feature a marathon, half-marathon, 10km run, and 5km run, all incorporating parts of the Mildura Weir parkrun course. There is also a separate 10km event specifically for walkers. Participants can choose to run or walk on the day.
An iconic medal will be awarded to all finishers of the 5km, 10km, half marathon, and marathon events. An event t-shirt, designed by local indigenous artist Lorraine Mitchell, is available for purchase.
