Event Overview
The Meridian Twizel Hard Labour Weekend is back for 2025 after the cancellation of the previous year’s events. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Mackenzie high country, this multi-sport event features:
- Canal Kayak: 20 km
- Mountain Bike: 16 km or 40 km options
- Off-Road Run/Walk: 10 km or 21 km
- Kids Mini Dusky: 10 km mountain bike or 5 km run/walk
This event invites everyone from families to seasoned athletes to participate. You can enter individual events or take on the challenge to complete all three and become a "Hard Labourer"!

- Event Dates: Saturday, October 25 and Sunday, October 26, 2025
- Online Entries Close: Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 9:00 PM
- Registration Pack Collection: Friday, October 24, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Twizel Events Centre
