Memorial Rik Clerckx
The "Memorial Rik Clerckx" is a running race primarily aimed at recreational runners and youth, honoring the late athlete Rik Clerckx. In 2026, the event will take place at the Schulensmeer.
Morning Races:
- FUN-Run (5KM)
- Oeverloop (11KM)
- 10 MIJL (16KM)
- Trail (25KM)
Afternoon Races (Youth):
- Peuterloop (0-3 years)
- Kleuter- and youth competitions
MRC Family Relay:
This relay is for family or group participation with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 participants per team. Each team receives a baton to complete 2 full laps (600M total). The baton must be passed at least twice. The total distance is 600M with exchange zones every 150M. Each participant may carry the baton only once. With a group of 4, each participant runs 150M. With a group of 3, the distance can be freely divided among participants.
