MauerwegNachtlauf
The MauerwegNachtlauf is a traditional night running event held on the fourth weekend of July. In 2026, it will take place from Saturday, July 25th to Sunday, July 26th. Approximately 50 runners will experience the Mauerweg (Berlin Wall Trail) at night. Running with headlamps has a special appeal, often feeling different than during the day. The 58-kilometer race is also an excellent preparation for the 100MeilenBerlin. Participants can experience how the course markings glow in the dark or test their mental strength. For the 15th edition in 2026, the race direction will be counter-clockwise, starting at S-Bhf. Lichterfelde Süd and finishing at Gesundbrunnen-Grundschule. A communal breakfast will be served at the finish line.
For the third time, alongside the MauerwegNachtlauf, there will be a MauerwegNachtwanderung (Night Hike) as preparation for the MauerwegMarsch. The hike will cover the southern part of the Mauerweg, in the same direction as the MauerwegMarsch, and will also take place at night. The hike starts at S-Bahnhof Lichtenrade and finishes at Gesundbrunnen-Grundschule, with refreshment stops and support along the way.
