Welcome to the 2026 M-Sport 5K & Junior Race
The M-Sport 5K is once again back this summer, and NEW! for 2026 is the "M-Sport Junior Race", encompassing one lap of the circuit (around 2.5km) for all our aspiring young athletes. The new race will increase the family environment on the day and allow more people to experience the chance to run at this exciting and different venue.
Famed for their production of high-performance competition vehicles, M-Sport are at the forefront when it comes to chasing the top times; and this summer will once again see horsepower replaced by people power and the screeching of tyres replaced by the pounding of feet as hundreds of runners take to the track in pursuit of their own PBs.
Hidden within the grounds of the Dovenby Hall Estate, the charity event offers a safe and exclusive experience with smooth undulating asphalt ideal for beginners and experienced runners alike.
Once again, the event will be taking place on a Saturday, with a start time that allows regular park runners to compete in both events.
We invite ages of all runners to enter the main race, however, anybody wanting to compete on the full 5k event who is under the age of 12 will need to be accompanied by an adult. For those younger Junior runners we recommend entering the Junior race instead.
The event raises money for local charities and good causes each year, and this year’s beneficiary will be nominated in due course.
