Lurig Challenge Run
The Lurig Challenge Run is part of the Heart of the Glens Festival. The event is a 3.8 mile off road run that goes from the start location to the summit of Lurig and returns to the same point. The summit is given as 1,073 feet above sea level. The route involves a sustained ascent to the top followed by a descent back down the mountain.
The organiser advises the use of trail or off road shoes.
Entries open on Saturday 13 June 2026 and close on Saturday 27 June 2026. The minimum age for entry is 16 years or older. The published entry fee is £25. The organiser states that no transfers or refunds will be available for entries.
