Llandudno Half Marathon & 10 Mile
The event offers two road races based at Venue Cymru in Llandudno, Sat Nav LL30 1BB. Distances on offer: Half Marathon, 10 Mile.
The route starts on the promenade opposite Venue Cymru, runs along the promenade to the Victorian pier, continues to Rhos on Sea and returns to Venue Cymru along the same route. The course is mostly flat with a notable half mile climb at the Little Orme.
Race services and facilities include a warm race HQ inside Venue Cymru with tea, coffee and snacks, drink stations at approximately every three miles and additional toilets inside Venue Cymru and at points on the promenade and at the halfway turning point. Parking is available in public pay and display car parks, including the Venue Cymru car park and promenade parking.
Safety and rules: first aid cover is provided by a professional medical team with stations at the start, finish and on course. Headphones are not allowed except bone conducting types. Runners must complete each mile in under 15 minutes or face elimination after the third mile; slower runners may be directed to use pavements and follow course signage. Litter left outside water stations or away from marshals may lead to disqualification.
All finishers receive a technical T-shirt and a bespoke medal. Numbers and timing chips are collected from race HQ on race day. Prizes are awarded for overall and age category positions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
