13th Annual Dolphin Dash - 5K Run/Walk & One-Mile Walk
Dolphins get ready! Le Moyne is excited to host the 13th Annual Dolphin Dash - 5K run/walk and one-mile walk event. Proceeds from the event will support student scholarships at Le Moyne College. Dolphin Dash tech event shirt deadline is Saturday, September 10!
Event Details:
- Live Event: Saturday, September 26, 9:30 a.m. (5K run or One-mile walk)
- Virtual Event: Saturday, September 26, all day. Run or walk a 5K (3.1 miles) anytime and anywhere, then submit your time.
Location:
Live Event: Niland Athletics Complex/Dwyer Center For Health and Wellness at Le Moyne College / 1419 Salt Springs Road / Syracuse, NY 13214. The Le Moyne College Events Center is located off of Springfield Road, back entrance of campus. The event will start and end here.
Virtual: Anywhere
Registration Options:
Participants can sign up for the live, in-person, timed 5K event, the One-Mile walk (not timed), or the virtual event. Registration is online only up through race time. No paper applications or cash/credit card payments accepted on event day. Please come prepared with a Smartphone to register online if registering on event day.
- Group / Team Registration: Available for groups/teams (e.g., Class Teams).
- Virtual 5K: $15.00 (+$10 for commemorative tee).
- One-mile walk: $10.00 (not timed).
Special Pricing:
- $5.00 off for active duty and retired military.
- $5.00 discount for members of specific running clubs (Checkers AC Running Club, Genesee Valley Harriers, Lake Effect Run Club, Syracuse Chargers Track Club, Finger Lakes Runners Club).
- $5.00 discount for all students.

- Overall Male and Female Finisher: First, second, and third place.

- Age Group Awards (Male & Female): 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.

Giveaway: Commemorative Dolphin Dash T-Shirt
Participants receive a commemorative T-shirt. Cut-off date to guarantee your event shirt is September 10. Shirts will be mailed to virtual participants following the event (allow 2-3 weeks for delivery). Shirts can also be picked up on event day.
Weather Policy:
The Dolphin Dash Run/Walk will take place rain or shine. Announcements regarding cancellation due to dangerous weather will be made on race day at the race site.
