Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon
Perfect for all runners as well as those seeking a fast time. An extremely fast one lap race starting and finishing in the village of Llanwddyn. The Route runs clockwise around the stunning Lake Vyrnwy and offers spectacular views all the way around.
Once you have completed the run, you will receive your own unique finishers medal, water and cereal bar.
Race Start / Finish
The Race Start / Finish will be full of music and flags. There will be a help desk at Race HQ for any last minute issues. The race village is just 5 minutes walk from the event car park. Please leave your bags and belongings in your cars.

- Arrive in event car park: 8am – 10am
- Warm Up: 10:30am
- Race Start: 11am
Parking
All spectators and runners must park at the event car park in Llanwddyn, Powys, SY10 0LT (follow event arrows). Once safely parked you will be able to make the short 5 minute walk to to the start and finish. There is no other car parking available in Llanwddyn or at the lake so please ensure you park at the event car park.
About Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon
The route starts and finishes in the village of Llanwddyn and heads up to cover a clock wise lap of the stunning Lake Vyrnwy. The course is extremely fast and has a course record of 1.02.14.
Race headquarters and the race village are near the start and finish. The Race Start and Finish area is described as having music, flags and a help desk for last minute issues. The race village is a short five minute walk from the event car park. The organiser requests that runners leave bags and belongings in their cars because no baggage drop is offered.
On completion participants receive a unique finishers medal, water and a cereal bar. Prizes are listed for the top three female and top three male finishers plus 14 age group winners. The event is currently listed as sold out.
