Kačina Run
The Kačina Run is a running race that is part of the BĚHEJ ZÁMKY STŘEDNÍ ČECHY series. The race routes lead around the beautiful Kačina Castle and through the extensive castle park. The race is for all lovers of movement and beautiful nature. There are races in children's categories up to 800 m, and for adults, there are 5 km and 10 km courses available. Maps and videos of individual routes can be found in the "Routes and Marking" tab. In the first year in 2024, 410 competitors were registered, even though the race date was postponed by two weeks due to adverse weather conditions.
The race will take place in Kutná Hora on Saturday, September 19, 2026. You can choose between 5 km, 10 km, and a half marathon (approximately 21 km).
Race Distances:
- Half Marathon (Pulmaraton) - approximately 21 km (three 7km laps)
- 10 km - two 5km laps
- 5 km - one lap
- Children's Races (Dětské závody) - up to 800 m
The race routes are approximately 70% gravel paths and 30% forest paths.
