John Clarke Memorial Fell Race
The 30th running of the John Clarke Memorial Fell Race is scheduled for 19 June 2026. This Category A fell race takes place inside the M25 motorway, utilizing several ascents and descents around Yardley Valley before finishing on Pole Hill with views over the Lea Valley towards central London.
The start is a short jog from the clubhouse, providing a built-in warm-up. The event is described as low-key and open to all participants. Entry is available through the SPOND platform with an entry fee of £5. Separate sign-ups are offered for members and non-members. Early entry is encouraged to minimize on-the-day administration, though on-the-day entry will be possible until 7:00 PM for the 7:30 PM start.
