International Hallers' Run
The International Hallers' Run is a commemorative event that highlights historical and cultural ties between Poland and Canada. It honors General Józef Haller and the soldiers of the Blue Army and recognizes the role of the Polish diaspora in Canada. The event takes place under the honorary patronage of the Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Poland and the Minister of National Defence of Canada. Parallel commemorations are held in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada and in Jurczyce, Poland.
The race starts near the entrance of the Historic Fort George National Historic Site at the east end of Byron Street. The course follows the Niagara Parkway Recreational Trail and is run in an out and back format with turnaround points at 2.5 km for the 5 km race and at 5 km for the 10 km race.

Registration fees vary by event. The kids run is free for children under 12. Participants receive an athletic event t-shirt, an energy bar, a finisher medal and additional event items. Participants under 18 receive a CAD 10 discount on applicable events. Winners of the 10 km male and female categories are entered in a draw for a plane ticket to Poland sponsored by Polish Airlines LOT, subject to verification of Canadian permanent resident or citizen status before award receipt.
