Hull of a Race for Parkinson’s
Join us for the 2026 Hull of a Race for Parkinson’s on Saturday, August 15th, in Hull, IL. This heartwarming event aims to raise funds and awareness for the American Parkinson Disease Association. In 2025, we set a record by donating $26,000 to the St. Louis Area American Parkinson Disease Association. We had 241 runners and made significant improvements to accommodate our Parkinson’s Heroes, including a comfortable viewing area with a tent, seating, fans, and dedicated parking.
We look forward to another fantastic year of raising money for research. Memorial or honor name badges will be available for runners to wear. Please contact us if you know someone with Parkinson’s or if you wish to join our Pit Crew and help with the race. Many hands make the work lighter!

Times:
- 5k/10k competitive races and 5k Fun Walk/Wheel Chair and Baby Stroller Roll: 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. (CDT)
- Kids 1/4 mile fun run: 7:45 a.m. - 7:55 a.m. (CDT)
Location: 290 Main Street at the corner of Main & Dixie streets in downtown Hull, IL 62343 (across from the s/w corner of the park).
Courses:
The 5K/10K courses are USATF Certified (IL22004NM, IL22005NM) and wind through the village of Hull and the surrounding countryside.
Timing:
The 5k/10k events are professionally chip timed by It's Race Time, Inc. Overall awards are based on Gun time; age group awards are based on chip (net) time.
Awards:
Trophies, Medallions, & Ribbons will be announced following the adult race.
Age Groups:
- Fun Run: 9 & under
- All 5K/10K Events: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over
Shirts:
Shirts are guaranteed to those signing up by August 1st. Not guaranteed for sign-ups after August 1st.
Entry Fee:
- Kids 1/4 mile Fun Run: $10 (by Aug 1st), $15 (after Aug 1st)
- 5K/10K: $30 per person (by Aug 1st), $35 (after Aug 1st)
- Family of 4 (5K/10K): $100.00 (by Aug 1st), $115.00 (after Aug 1st)
- Family of 5 (5K/10K): $125.00 (by Aug 1st), $145.00 (after Aug 1st)
Refunds:
Come rain or shine, the race will be run. Lightning will postpone and/or cancel the race. NO REFUNDS.
Packet Pickup:
- Friday, August 14th: Downtown park, 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, August 15th: Shelter next to the Fire Station on Main St., 6:45 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Raffles:
$1 per ticket. Print your name and phone# on the back of the ticket. Raffle after the adult race.
