Hughenden Valley 10K
The Hughenden Valley 10K is a trail running event held at Hughenden Manor in Hughenden, Buckinghamshire, near High Wycombe. The course covers 10 km with approximately 195 m of ascent, following a mixture of woodland and rural trails across the Hughenden Valley.
The route is hilly with multiple climbs and descents. Some trail sections can be wet and muddy, so trail running shoes are recommended. Navigation is provided by orange arrow markers and ribbons, and marshals are positioned on the course. A water aid station is located at 5.3 km; cups are supplied and bins are available on site.
The event base is at Hughenden Manor; facilities on site include car parking, fixed toilets and a cafe. The start and finish are on the park grounds near the church. High Wycombe train station is approximately a 25 minute walk from the venue.
Entries are open to runners aged 16 and over. The event is permitted by the Trail Running Association (TRA License No. 7444) and is held under UK Athletics rules. Entry fees have included chip timing with live results, a finisher souvenir, medical support and a bag drop, and free parking with entry to Hughenden Manor. Route Description
Set in the beautiful countryside surrounding Hughenden Manor, this 10K course follows a mixture of woodland and rural trails. There are no major road crossings to worry about so you can focus on enjoying the race and tackling the ups and downs. Some sections will be wet and muddy and trail shoes are essential.
