Heroic Costume Contest
Unleash your inner hero or embrace your inner villain—because it’s time to save (or conquer) the day before the race even starts! Show off your best superhero or villain look at 6:50 AM, just before the Kids Dash and race start, for a chance to win a Bigfoot Prize Pack!
Race Distances & Awards
All finishers in every distance receive a medal and shirt! Youth-Based Pricing: 5K & 10K participants aged 12 & under run for only $15! Referral Bonus: Refer 5 friends and get a $20 refund! Group Discounts: Join as a group and save more—the larger your group, the bigger the discount!
Races Offered:
- Kids Dash – 50-meter untimed dash (Ages 10 & under) Includes a race tee, medal, and exclusive Kids Dash recognition pin.
- 1 Mile Fun Run – For all ages and experience levels (untimed)
- 5K (3.11 miles) – Chip timed
- Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles) – Chip timed
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles) – Chip timed
Standard Age Group Awards (5K, Quarter Marathon, Half): 1st Overall Male & Female – Bigfoot Trophy. 1st Masters (40+) Male & Female – Recognition Pin. Top 3 in each age group receive Gold, Silver, and Bronze pins.
Event Schedule
- 5:30 AM – 6:40 AM – Packet Pickup ends 20 minutes before the race starts!
- 6:50 AM – Costume Contest
- 6:55 AM – Kids Dash
- 7:00 AM – National Anthem & Race Start
Post-Race Festivities:
- Live results and awards ceremony
- DJ playing all the hits
- Bigfoot Trophy & age group awards presentation

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer Then Run (5K Distance Only): Be part of the action and run the 5K! Includes a chip-timed bib, t-shirt, and finisher medal. Limited to first 5 sign-ups only.
Full Race Volunteer (Non-Running Role): Volunteers receive a Bigfoot race shirt, VIP race access, and choice of a FREE future race entry or $20 Amazon digital gift card.
Course & Experience
All races are held on scenic local park and greenbelt trails—mostly paved with some crushed granite and dirt sections. Aid stations will be available. Bigfoot races proceed rain or shine.
